Once you pick your influencers and are in contact with the relevant agents, it’s time for paperwork. The two main things you care about are pricing and deliverables. Deliverables refer to the responsibility of the influencer, for example, Instagram Posts, Stories, TikToks, YouTube sponsorships, etc. Generally, you want to try and get multiple deliverables for each individual influencer, eg. one TikTok, one IG Post, and one IG Story. This will ensure maximum exposure to the influencer’s audience, and is generally fairly standard when it comes to influencer promotions, especially if it’s a package deal.

One thing to keep an eye on in influencer promotion contracts (as you may have seen in the example above) is how long the posts will stay up on the influencer accounts. Very rarely will sponsored posts find their home on an influencer’s feed forever, so you want to make sure you’re clear on the designated time frame. The sample contract above lists 2 months of up-time, with the option to extend for an additional fee. This is not typically super impactful to your results, since the vast majority of engagement will come in the days immediately following the post. However, it’s always good to understand the nuances of your agreement.
