Once you have your Articles of Organization, EIN, and Operating Agreement, you have everything you need to get your business bank account created. It’s absolutely crucial to keep your business revenue and expenses separate from your personal finances, even if your LLC has only one owner. I use Wells Fargo for my business banking (mostly due to the fact that I’ve been with them forever), but I would recommend going with whatever bank you currently use for personal finances, so all of your accounts can be in the same place and in the same online dashboard.

To create your LLC business checking account, simply get an appointment with a business banker at your local branch. The process is extremely simple, and should take ~45 minutes. You will need to bring your Articles of Organization, EIN, and Operating Agreement to show the bank that your company exists and who all is involved (who needs access to the account). Once set up, your business is ready to get started!
