A profit share agreement is exactly what it sounds like. You and another person or business are endeavoring to do something together, and intend to split the profits. One important aspect of profit share agreements is defining what “profit” means for your use case. It’s critical to clearly define what constitutes “expenses” for the profit calculation. This is different from a revenue share agreement, which has no profit calculations. Let’s take a look at this example:
